When Canada’s Walk-In Clinics Are Actually Open

Every guide says walk-in clinics open evenings and weekends. The published hours of 22,732 providers say otherwise: 3.1% are open at 8pm on a Wednesday, and 58% shut for the whole weekend.

Where the data comes from

Listings are compiled from public health registries, OpenStreetMap and Google Places, then checked for accuracy. Ratings and review counts are Google's.

How we handle limits

Findings are stress-tested before publication and stated with their limits. We do not publish clinic counts per capita, because those measure our coverage of a region rather than how many clinics exist in it.
